The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) in Dublin will be staging a solidarity vigil this evening (Monday) as a motion on Veolia – the company that operates Dublin’s LUAS system – is voted on at Dublin City Council. One thousand pairs of children’s shoes of all sizes were tied to the railings outside the cathedral representing the victims of Roman Catholic abuse. Some passers by stopped to tie shoes. Many abuse survivors and supporters came together from as far as Cork and Wexford to attend the protest.

The demo will start at 6pm outside City Hall, Dame Street, Dublin 2 on the evening of Monday 12th April.
