Looks as if the South Park crew could have some problems angry islamic fundamentalists. Mocking buddha and christ is one thing but mocking the "prophet" of islam is a tad more dangerous.

Islamists have warned the creators of TV show South Park they could face violent retribution for depicting the Prophet Muhammad in a bear suit. A posting on the website of the US-based group, Revolution Muslim, told Matt Stone and Trey Parker they would "probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh". The Dutch film-maker was shot and stabbed to death in 2004 by an Islamist angered by his film about Muslim women. read full story / add a comment

What could the €8 Billion that we gave to Anglo Irish Bank last tues alone have done for our Health Service? For those on Social Welfare? For people who cant afford to pay their mortgages? Where are their Bailouts?
It's time to say 'Enough is Enough!'. We need to get back out on the streets and start building opposition to this massive theft of taxpayer's cash.

Kevin Flanagan and John Deegan are holding a 48 hour fast out side of the GPO in O'COnnell St. Dublin, to highlight her case to the public. The fast begins at 6pm on Friday and will finish on Sunday 25th at 6pm. read full story / add a comment

Greyhound protection campaigners are holding demonstrations outside various venues on Dara O'Briain's UK tour after a racing dog, part "owned" by the Irish comedian, was fatally injured during a race at Dublin's Harolds Cross Stadium. The BBC is also being targetted, as the race was featured in an episode of its Three Men in a Boat programme, which amounted to a promotion of the cruel so-called "sport" of greyhound racing and where no mention of the death of the dog was made. read full story / add a comment
