Several hundred people gathered at Free Derry Corner in Derrys Bogside for a march and rally in support of a fitted-up republican prisoner, Seamus Doherty. Many friends and family members of Seamus held posters demanding his immediate release from prison. A whiteline picket was also held en route through the city centre. The video of Margaret Hassan really appalls me. This woman should be released immediately. How utterly shameful that this woman, an Irish citizen, too, should be humiliated like this. Yet again, Indymedia Ireland is silent on this embarrassment to their fellow travellers' unjust cause. Just check out Liverpool Indymedia's churlish silence on Ken Bigley.
