"Threads" a BBC docudrama from 1984 focuses on the impact of a full blown nuclear war on the residents of Shefield in the 1980's. The U.S. and Russia come to blows after a military coup in Iran prompts a Soviet military incursion which provokes an American military response. The conflict escalates into a full-blown nuclear war which decimates humanity and population of Britain. This morning, monday 6th jan '08 at 7 am, 11 of us split up into two groups. We went to the Ardsallagh Compound (site entrance 2.10) and Roestown (site entrance 2.1 ) . All the machinery was parked at these two sites for the past two weeks over Christmas. read full story / add a comment
