The programme is extensive: 19 workshops, 45 invited speakers, 2 plenary sessions, 10 films, 2 walking tours, 5 physical activities, a social night, a benefit gig and specially featuring 2 invited guests from Argentina's social movements who will be giving two public meetings. A Limerick man cannot go on holiday with his family because the police have not returned his passport despite an order from the Special Non-Jury Court.

RSF member Ger Bromell fromWoodview Park had to wave goodbye to his wife and family as they headed off for Spain. Because his passport has not been returned to him despite his being cleared by the court of IRA membership he had no option but to stay behind at the Airport. read full story / add a comment

The Liberties Recycling Plant in Basin Street, Dublin 8, is a model of community driven enterprise. As an example of sustainable business, it excels on many counts. It is a financially viable concern, recycles discarded clothes and textiles, and provides 15 employment positions for people who are trying to rehabilitate themselves from drug use.
