So far from what I've heard there's been strong backing for this National Work Stoppage on Friday, October 4TH, with not much opposition being expressed at meetings by ordinary rank and file workers. I believe from I've heard, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the Waterford Trades Council are mobilising for a 24-hour, all-out Work Stoppage in Waterford city and City, involving all workers from the private and public sector, the semi-state sector, and the civil service. ... read full story / add a comment
