Professor Nollaig O Gadhra, Galway University, speaking today on Wbai's Radio Free Eireann, NYC, said that Sinn Fein's election campaign was dishonest. They are talking about equality when the North is the issue he said. Also, Sandy Bowyer called for letters of support to be sent to Colm Murphy in Portlaoise Prison, who was not convicted of the Omagh bombing, but of conspiracy. Note: Professor O Gadhra, because of his republican beliefs, was banned from the U.S. for 20 yrs. until his fellow republican, Albert Reynnolds, intervened on his behalf. I am o8159 Lt. Donal Roche who was forecefully 'retired' by the President in 1969. I have been trying for 33 years to clear my name. The state is refusing me my military files which I need to see the charges against me. They made a security exception against me under F.O.I. Only 3 Officers have been fired under this draconian "in the interests of the service" rule in 50 years. Recently I lost my struggle for 'discovery' in the courts because of delay. Anyone who heard my pleas on the Marion Finucane show Fri. 4th should contact both the show (1850 715 105) and the taoiseach ([email protected]) if they wish to support my struggle. My disgrace was used to destroy my Sister Adi's bid for the Presidency in 1997 by the same faceless secret forces who framed me back in 1969. I USUALLY save the I-told-you-so gloat for the year-in-review column, but I can't resist noting that Yasser Arafat's Fatah organisation has now come round to my way of thinking on the Jenin refugee camp. "There was no massacre," I wrote here two weeks ago, when Robert Fisk and Fleet Street's other sob-sisters were running around weepin' and a-wailin' about mass graves and war crimes. The communist leader Ýbrahim Kaypakkaya was only 24 years old when he was slaughtered to dieth by the Turkish state. He was the first person that ever brought the issue up that kemalism means facism and announced that there is e Kurdish nation. He was a convinced MLM ist and believed in Peoples war. He was only 24 yars old when he died it was on the 18 may 1973 the party is celebrating its 30. anniversary also this year.
