GOPUSA News accompanied the first-term Iowa Congressman to one such rally two weeks ago. I see from the RTE “news” that the Iraqi Special Olympics team has had to withdraw from the forthcoming games. Such a decision has to be welcomed given the understandable security considerations; some of the individuals accompanying the team could be agents of the Saddam Hussein regime with terrorist activity on their minds. Given the positive role our country has and continues to play in “Operation Iraqi Freedom”, such a terrorist threat has to be taken serious. I know our government and security forces will be on constant alert in order to ensure the safety of all citizens and foreign residents. In these difficult and stressful times, we can be proud that our country is standing by the forces of freedom and democracy, and supporting leaders of courage and determination like President Bush and Prime Minister Blair. ... read full story / add a comment

RTE Radio 1 and 2FM are to be dropped from Sky's EPG following a row over coverage of the war in Iraq. Sky had already protested to RTÉ about their anti-war coverage, saying it is biased. Although they will be removed at midnight tonight, both RTÉ Radio 1 & 2FM will still be available via the 'Other Channels' menu. They consider RTE's coverage to be anti-war???!!! ... read full story / add a comment
