With war looming, just to put things in perspective, check out this site. http://www.sunshine-project.org/ Details of serious allegations as regards US-backed biological weapons plans for Columbia, US covert chemical weapons activities, US special forces actively canvassing the science community for Genetically Engineered bioweapons, and the legal status or otherwise of all of the above. Galway City Council last night unanimously passed an anti-war resolution, which was proposed by Alderman Catherine Connolly of Labour. The resolution was raised ‘in solidarity’ with Galway’s twin cities, Seattle and Chicage, both of whose councils have adopted anti-war positions. Alderman Connolly urged her colleagues to show leadership on the issue, “especially when Shannon is in the next county to us”.
