No one, Finkelstein included, denies a holocaust against Jews. It is important to remember that many others died in the camps, such as Gypsies, Slavs and others. The death of Jews in no way elevates their suffering over any other people. Finkelstein's concern seems to be that these blackmail schemes will ultimately cheapen the holocaust and open the way for the deniers. I was just wondering why it takes the IMC collective so long to update the frontpage of the site. I would imagine new stories could put put up in minutes and each doesn't exactly have to be massive. The IMF and World Bank have finally acknowledged that the Heavily Indebted Poor Country initiative, which promised an end to the debt crisis is failing. Debt is on the agenda at the G8 Heads of State meeting in Kananakis, Cananda, June 26-27th. The Gardai as part of their ongoing nightmare in dealing with RTS aftermath yesterday used a search warrant to secure a copy of footage shot by an RTE interactive crew at RTS. I mentioned that at least one person had been told that as they were not the only person visible in the relavent frames, that the footage could not be made available.
