People assembled on Saturday 5 th April, at Derry's Guildhall for the regular protest against the war. The speakers highlighted the incongruity of Bush and Blair planning to vitit Belfas to talk "peace" with the blood of the people of Baghdad still dripping from their hands. There was a march through Derry City centre. "Free Derry Corner" had "Bush Not Welcome" added to it. People in Derry do not lightly modify this icon of the Civil Rights campaign.
