Tuesday 8th April 2003 Green Party TD John Gormley will be the guest speaker at an anti-war public meeting in Galway tonight. The meeting starts at 7.30pm in the Atlanta Hotel in Dominick Street with a video by John Pilger called "Paying the Price" about the effects of sanctions in Iraq in the run up to the present war. This will be followed by a speech by Green Party Foreign affairs spokesperson John Gormley. Local news BBC, did give us a glimpse of thousands of anti war protestors at Hillsborough, but that was all we got.
