Here’s the kicker - all of the works on view will be given away free to interested members of the public, from 6.00 pm, Thursday 16 June, (Bloomsday). It’s all part of the Dublin artist’s illustrative invective against what he calls ‘bankers greed’ and gives practical expression to his mantra that : “ The opposite of Greed is Generosity - giving away 300 original works is my way of declaiming the activity that has provoked widespread punishment on masses of blameless people in Europe, the Uk and Ireland.’

Following his Giveaway Art exhibition which stopped traffic in the City of London in March Pete Dunne’s next exhibition will be at

Fishbowl Gallery, Exchange Dublin will exhibit works which Dunne has composed for this even on the Irish economic meltdown and featuring personalities who appeared to have s(h)at on the top of the pile even as it was sinking under them.

Dunne has held several sell-out exhibitions in London, his work usually fetching upwards of 1,000 per painting to a growing customer base. As in the City of London exhibition, his Dubln outing is the result of intense and feverish bouts of creativity, presenting a rare onslaught of artistic reflection.

Nice to see somebody from the art world doing well but still not completely corrupted by the capitalist trough and leading by example.
You should post a few pictures of the artworks in question here for all to see.
