It's been exasperating to watch as, in defiance of the wishes of Western electorates, the cultural make-up of our countries is radically transformed. It's time to scrap the asylum system, says Lionel Shriver.

Sometimes Trump's mercantilist thinking is so radical as to be wildly, crazily brilliant, as with the Gaza Riviera plan. But on Ukraine it's letting him ? and the West ? down, says Ian Rons.

Is this serious?

I'm not trying to be smart, but what war? Some people are trapped in the past.. whereas most of us, and I mean us in the North, have moved on. There is no war, Sharon from Dublin.

Hi Colm (from the North) !
The British have also declared it as such , but can I ask what exactly you view it as, and why?
Thanks!
Sharon (from Dublin).

Hi !
This very successful and almost over-subscribed fund-raiser was held last night (Saturday 31st July 2010) as planned , at which three acts were on stage over the course of the evening . Ten items were offered , and won , as prizes in the raffle , including one donated by a well-known figure whom , it is said, used the liquid made by that prize to keep himself awake and alert on one particular night in 1966....

A few words and some pics can be viewed at the 'Related Link' below.
Thanks!
Sharon.
