Winning elections is pointless without real change, says Dr James Allan. Right-wing leaders must take bold stances on immigration, Net Zero and the culture wars ? playing it safe will only lead to failure.

Shakespeare's Birthplace Trust and woke academics are "decolonising" the Bard by downplaying his genius, linking his legacy to white supremacy and scrubbing "offensive" language from its collections.

Blair , the Evidence and the Convenient Fiction

Tony Benn says he didnt believe a word

As Tony Blair's evidence to the Iraq invasion inquiry , Old Labour ' statesman said yesterday he didnt believe a word of his rambling fiction. Did he really get away with this with his lying by increments, his obscenely flawed rhetoric. His false claims re Saadam and WMD.. the notion of a rogue state ..- the real rogue stat in the region.
And do the Brits reall give a dam anyway, as integrity has only an inconvenience and only had £ shop currency.
The whole inchoate gibberish. - from the man who felt the hand of history on his shoulder.
Yo ! Blair- as GW Bush would have said.

Mr Tony Benn addressed Blair’s performance yesterday on the RTE Sunday ! Pm news.
Mr Benn came quickly to the point , indeed several points.
Blair fictionalised massive traunches in his evidence.
Having been denied a mandate by the UN he went to Crawford and spoke to Bush , and have him an assurance that the Brits would support the illegal invasion.
Blair in the course if his evidence made an absurd connection between Saadam and WMD .
He said he was convinced after 9/11 it was the way to go.
There was and still is no evidence to connect Bin Laden to Iraq other than they are both Sunni Muslins.
El Quaieda caused the twin towers to collapse or so it seems . It is not plausible that a 3rd tower would also collapse conveniently into its own ‘foot print’- this 3rd towere was formerly occupied by the CIA and there is a suggestion now that nanno explosives could have been used to collapse all 3 towers . They might have with stood the impact of a plane , but unlikely that they could have collapsed in such a forensic manner.
But Mr Blair has given his outrageous fiction to the investigation; he was pompous , overly confident , and used a subtle form of logic to sell his story by increment; which were unrelated . He was questioned about WMD , which were never found- well he replied - Saadam had the capacity to build them or nearly had , and when he did have it would be unthinkable what a despot could do with these.
One flawed hypothesis after another .
Saadam didn’t have them. He used chemical weapons against the Kurds . - and the British
used smallpox infected blankets against the American Native Indian Population.
What is the criterium for ‘’ rogue states’’
Is it at the subjective whim of a British Premier who wanted not only the hand of history upon him , but also the crown of history
But the real rogue state in the region is Israel. They have this week confessed to using white phosphorus in Gaza- an illegal weapon against a civilian population , so why not nuke Iran ; they haven’t hesitated for moral reasons , but more for reasons of keeping the US on side. But they are prepared to ‘admonish ‘ senior officers for using an illegal weapon against civilians in a UN compound.
None of these officers will be tried , let alone be demoted.
Which makes one wonder if the Israelis didn’t just sent a ccomponent of their Army to Haiti for the optics , given the Goldsmith report. They have also paid a prophylactic sum of some million dollars for possible collateral damage in Gaza- and worse - the UN accepted it.
The Israelis have in contravention of UN resolution 242 since 1967.and they continue to knock Arabs houses in Jerusalem as part of their extended land grab policy .
But to return to Mr Benn and Blair . When asked if he believed the evidence Blair had given the inquiry he said be didn’t believe a word of it.
This coming from such a formidable ‘Old Labour ‘ gentleman is the worst indictment Blair could get .
Cameron voted for invasion , he’s soiled goods.
But from one of the giants of Wilson’s government , Blair is a blatant liar.
But do the great moronic masses care ?
Not one whit I would imagine .

"Some people use the internet to spread hate and violent extremism. They chat with their supporters, share their beliefs and hope to gain new followers online. Find out what is illegal in the UK, and how you can report it." So says a new British government website designed to identify and eliminate online extremism, including "glorifying (praising) terrorism". (http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/CrimeJusticeandtheLaw/Count...83993).

You can help by reporting various sites glorifying (praising) illegal invasion, civilian bombing, cultural theft, etc, etc, such as:
