Rally For Cannabis Activist Marc Emery on September 19th

On September 19th there will be a protest outside the Canadian Embassy in Dublin to show support for Canadian Marc Emery. Marc is a well-known activist, Vancouver retail store owner, and editor of Cannabis Culture Magazine. He was raided by Canadian police and the US DEA on July 29th, 2005, and arrested for selling marijuana seeds over the Internet.

On September 19th there will be a protest outside the Canadian Embassy in Dublin to show support for Canadian Marc Emery. He was raided by Canadian police and the US DEA on July 29th, 2005, and arrested for selling marijuana seeds over the Internet.

On September 10th 2005, over 40 demonstrations were held around the world to protest Marc's arrest for extradition to the United States. Locations included Moscow, Prague, Wellington, Sydney, Mexico City, Paris, and London.

This year there are going to be protests on September 19th globally to show support for Marc and put pressure on those who wish to see him extradited as he is due to be sentenced on September 28th 2009. He is facing 5 years for selling cannabis seeds and the cannabis community worldwide are going to protest at this unjust sentence.
