This demonstration could have been advertised better, I can't find a notice of it in the event calendar?
what is going on, i dont understand why the publicity of this strike is so low key, everyone in the country now know about the thomas cook strike and they are 3 days on strike as it has had so much publicity, this strike is going into week 5 and yet anybody i raise the subject with, they are totally oblivious to what is going on in dublin port. It is appalling how these workers are been treated. The protest that took place last week, i say arange alot more of them. I drive past the gate most days and only for i have a family member involved i wouldnt have a clue what or who was striking. More big protests and for a number of days, and what is going on with the fact that rte never published the article they recorded, radio stations?????i hav'nt heard a thing on the radio, i would have expected by now to have heard this issue on Gerry Ryan!!!!
Keep fighting, i hope the l.r.c and the e.a.t come down on these bullys like a tone of bricks....All the managment in this so called company must have no concious and who knows they too could be next on this Mr Whittakers list...
KEEP FIGHTING....MORE PROTESTS.....
Next Monday (August 10th) the Dublin Port Workers Support Group is holding another march to support the strikers.
We will be meeting at 10.30am at
Ray's Shop, Sean Moore Road, Ringsend
and
St Joseph's school, East Wall Road
Both marches will join up at the East Link bridge and then go together to support the strikers at the MTL depot.
Everyone is very welcome.
