After a demonstration this morning by SOAS students to protest against the arrest and deportation of several cleaners at the London School of Oriental and African Studies, around 50 students occupied the Director’s office. It is no coincidence that this raid targeted militant workers who had recently been involved in successful struggles for union representation and the London Living Wage as part of the Justice 4 Cleaners campaign. They had also recently gone strike in support of Stalin Bermudez, the sacked SOAS Unison Branch Chair. |

it fails to amaze me, the arrogance and ignorance of the general public in Ireland, England, Europe, the reality of people who experience, poverty exploitation alienation. my blood fucking boils. then we have people who say that they represent people who experience exploitation. who have their heads stuck between, the rightwing media and political establishment.
one has only to look at how the staff of Thomas cook, in Dublin Ireland. on the bank holiday weekend August 2009.
have we forgot about people on Irish Ferries. 2005.
Dublin port workers six month protest against scab labour.
people from Latvia Lithuani, Slovina, been employed and fired without proper redundancy notices. been denied their p45. told by the state, to return home to their places of origin. fortress Europe is up and running. while the bankers can do what they fucking like. what recession eh.
I forgot to mention about people who were found in a truck at Rosslare in Wexford. if my mind serves me correctly I think these people were from Romania. there were many people in the truck, a number were seriously injured. this would have been around, 1993-94. remember the Asian workers collecting on the beach been exploitated.
