noborderZONE

Freedom of movement realized: platform 6 is a 24 h - performance about
mutatingidentity, an artivistic intervention in the real, mapping the invisible
borders withliving bodies in resistance. The noborderZONE makes research on
Biopolitical systemsregrouping state institutions and multinationals to show the increasingly
interconnected network of data-gathering systems of control.

In the current situation Europe is organizing itself as a fortress,
replacing theinner borders by electronic substitutes which control people and restrict
them intheir movement and communication. The platform 6 denounces the precarious
positionof people threatened to be deported at any moment.
The noborderZONE is reclaiming an open space for interaction and a
laboratory ofresistance and social invention.
A few days ago another 20 Roma families were deported from Germany. The
so-calledResidenzpflicht (restricting movement of people by obliging them to have a
permanentaddress) is the instrument for state repression and deportation. Everybody
who doesnot enter into the general mold of production and consumption like for
instancemigrants, nomads, travellers, precarious, 2nd generation immigrants and
the poor areconsidered rightless. Neoliberalism with its new defined need of
"security" isproducing prejudice and the fear of the "Other".
People move across physical and virtual borders. Artivists challenge the
electronical frontiers through digital and physical communication. States and
multinationals are currently enforcing control of both flows. But information
technology is part of a freefloating culture of resistance and a tool to
develop asociety of seemless control.
The platform 6 is standing for the following demands: the right of free
choice ofhousing and movement, the immediate withdraw of the Residenzpflicht law . In
consequence the Roma families present at the Documenta, as everybody else,
must befree to choose the lives they want to live. Stop the forced and continous
deplacement and deportation of people!
Everybody is welcome to participate in the action:
