Galway Cyclists AGM The Galway Cycling Campaign is to hold its tenth Annual General Meeting on the 8th of September from 7 to 9pm in the new Social Space premises at 24 Middle Street. Formed after a large public meeting in 1998, the Galway Cycling Campaign (GCC) sees itself as a positive force for the city's cyclists and aims to promote the interests of ordinary everyday adult bicycle users. The GCC has had a very active year, dealing with significant cycling-related issues both locally and nationally. The GCC has also played a prominent role in developing a national representative body for commuter cyclists. |
