If it goes ahead it looks it will have to be a do-it-yourself effort- so please spread the word and bring candles etc.
According to the good folks at Tibetan Community in Ireland, this event is not going ahead. A separate event is being arranged for later in the month, details of which will be posted here.
Respectfully Tadhg, I don’t know where you heard that this event had been cancelled. It’s still posted on the Candle for Tibet website as one of the vigils going ahead in 170 countries. http://www.candle4tibet.org/en/emb
as you already are well aware... I’m not the organizer for this event, just someone passing on information. I will be there with my candle tonight at 9pm in Solidarity with other Global events planed. Hopfully others will attend in support also.
Kind regards,
Erin
Hi Erin,
Have you been there..?
I have lit a couple of candles together with 6 (six) other guys)..
not much of a protest..
Cheers, Przemek.
