Ban Fur Farming in Ireland protest at Department of Agriculture

category dublin | animal rights | event notice author Wednesday March 19, 2008 21:27author by Laura Broxson - CAFT Ireland / National Animal Rights Associationauthor email caftireland at gmail dot comauthor address PO Box 11019, Dublin 2 Report this post to the editors

LET'S GET FUR FARMING BANNED!

Hi,

On Tuesday 25th we will be having a 'Ban Fur Farming in Ireland' demonstration at the Department of Agriculture.

We will be handing in our petitions (which have over 5000 signatures on them!) and will hopefully get to discuss the issue with a representative of the Department.

This is a very important event, so we are asking that everyone please do their very best to attend. Especially at the beginning of the protest, as we are expecting press coverage - so we want to look as powerful as possible!

WHEN: 12.30 - 2.30pm, Tuesday 25th March

WHERE: Department of Agriculture, Kildare Street, Dublin 2.

There are 6 fur farms in this country - so for the 150,000 mink and 400 foxes that get killed on these farms every year, let's show the government that the people of Ireland want this barbaric industry banned at once!

See you Tuesday!
