Meeting of student activists and other concerned citizens for climate change campaign Student Action on Climate Change hosts the first public gathering on the urgent issue of tackling Ireland's contribution to climate change, on October 20th at 1.30pm in Trinity College Dublin (Goldsmith Hall). Climate change is probably the most important issue affecting our world, and we all have a responsibility to take action to reduce our emissions. Student Action on Climate Change’s aim is to publicly campaign to put pressure on the Irish Government so that Ireland can stop dragging our feet on this issue. |

Have to ask what's the point of having a government minister at a conference about climate change, whatever the colour of his shirt. the green party has thoroughly sold out on environmental issues, as well as social justice issues. i hope you'll give him a hard time at the very least.
