The Venezuelan Revolution has entered a new stage. After the election of December 2006, which the Bolivarian Movement won with 63% of the votes, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Frias proposed the unification of the different parties that constitute the Bolivarian Movement (Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela – PSUV). He also launched the government’s new programme (“the five engines for Socialism”) with the intention of starting the transition to socialism and the Socialist Republic of Venezuela. should be quite informative . The Bolivarian revolution must continue to be advanced and explained in the face of repeated propaganda offensives against it from both right and left .
such as this recent rubbish .

Is nothing more than another Mugabe in waiting. another tinpot tyrant that old Bolshies support enthusiastically. Hugo will eventually turn on the Venezuelan Peoples, like every other tyrant from Pol Pot, to Castro.
Chavez is a 21st century Mussolini walt, nothing more
Real participative democracy as opposed to the representative democracy we have in this country i.e. you tick a box every few years and pretend you have power. What a con we live in.
The problem is that with real democracy comes real responsibilty and most people just couldn't be bothered.
Good luck to the people of Venezuela and what they are trying to achieve, it's a pity we have sold our democracy to the EU fascist state. Our nation is gone and most people don't even see it or just couldn't care less. I still remember when we had our own country before we were dictated to by the fascisits in europe.
Congratulations to the organisers. Looking forward to the meeting
Frank
