Seymour Hersh to give Amnesty International Annual Lecture

Amnesty International ANNUAL LECTURE 2007

Pulitzer Prize-winnning investigative journalist Seymour Hersh will give the Amnesty International Annual Lecture in October.
Seymour Hersh writes for The New Yorker magazine and has written extensively on US involvement with Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Sudan, Israel, Vietnam and the former Soviet Union.

Date: 24 October 2007
Time: 7pm
Location: Trinity College Dublin

Admission to the lecture is free and there will be priority access to Amnesty International Irish Section members.

Tickets will be available to book on line from 24 September 2007. See the link provided.

Live webcast of Seymour Hersh lecture
RTE.ie to broadcast Seymour Hersh lecture on Wednesday
RTE.ie will broadcast a live webcast of Seymour Hersh giving the 2007 Amnesty International Lecture in Trinity College Dublin.

The lecture is booked out, but you can watch it live from 7pm on Wednesday, 24 October on www.rte.ie/live.

The veteran investigative journalist is best known for his books and articles on the My Lai Massacre, the Abu Ghraib abuses and several other stories about the Unites States military and security.

I, Just this second, finished watching and listening to the whole 2hr Show on the link above..Holy Crap ..what a brilliant seminar. It's compulsive, He even manages to be funny. If you havent heard this ..then you should pencil it in for a must do.
