category mayo | environment | news report author Wednesday July 11, 2007 20:04author by arpiai - shell to sea supporter Report this post to the editors

This is breaking - I just received this info via text message from a Shell to Sea activist: Erris fishermen sentenced to 3 months for 'assault'

Message:

"Bad News. 3 Erris fishermen got sentenced to 3 months today for "assaulting" cops - thinking of a protest at dept of justice on Friday lunchtime. Spread the word."

Anyone got more info? Can't find anything on RTE, IOL or with Google News.
