Irish Republican Radio

Broadcasting 24/7 !

IrishRepublican.net has stepped into the spotlight again. We believe, as republicans, that music plays a vital role in our struggle. Each song tells a story, of an ambush, a republican martyr, or a famous event that has passed us by. We have taken to this belief, and established an online radio station, Irish Republican Radio. Irish Republican Radio currently has several DJ's, and we broadcast 24/7, bringing you songs of struggle, songs of history and martyrs and the odd bit of Ceili. We hope you enjoy the Radio, as well as learn something from it. We also operate a requests system so that we play what you want!

What a great idea.
Music plays a vital role in our culture.
In the 1798 rebellion, there is little, or no written record, that told the story from the rebels side, we have always had an oral history that was passed down through song and stories.
Songs are one way of keeping the memory alive of those great and unselfish people who fought and died down through our history . Those who have given everything in order to create and promote a free and decent society that treated all its people equally.
I hope this project is successful. Best of luck.

Always good to see more independant radio popping up, do you have a lot of people working with you, will you be doing live shows, transmitting talks and fora, going out and making a lot of interviews. Radio is a really powerful tool, good luck with project, do you have a physical space/ studio..
