do u know if they're at the soldiers hill site?
They are in the area of the Roestown site.
Muireann says they are holding out and that they have evidence -tech-
its more independent witness than legal that is required.
The map:-
Go to Dunshaughlin, left then right (at the 'Y' in the road)
They need support, and have been protesting 27 hours.
now has anyone got the schnews address?
0879249510- for updates- but they are busy.
Their best protection is the Media. Contact the Media. Get them out there.
Schnews are based in England.
Get in touch with the Meath Cronicle and LMFM, they can be there within minutes.

Phone Newstalk at 01 6445100 ,ask for newsroom. They are hungry for scoops, they got a mega one today at 12.30 today, re 1000 frontline job job cuts in health by end of 2007. An election blackout kicks in soon so other stuff will be in the spotlight. Good luck in getting it in to the light of exposure.
The people who are being assulted should consider pressing charges or at least report their injuries to the Police who have a duty to protect the Public. Remember there is an ombudsman now.
At least, there will be an official record, because you can be sure that SIAC will have recorded events in detail that they will then twist to serve their own agenda.
Coverage of the events unfolding at Tara will be spoken about tonight on www.glastonburyradio.net by Trevor Jones and we hope that the world will be listening!
Take note of all badge numbers, times, locations, witnesses....and get photo and video footage
keep your footage safe!!!
then report to media, indymedia and

The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission is an independent statutory body.
It was established under the Garda Síochána Act 2005 which involved very significant legislative changes for policing in Ireland.
The Ombudsman Commission, under the Act, is required and empowered to:
* Directly and independently investigate complaints against members of the Garda Síochána;
* Investigate any matter, even where no complaint has been made, where it appears that a Garda may have committed an offence or behaved in a way that would justify disciplinary proceedings;
* Investigate any practice, policy or procedure of the Garda Síochána with a view to reducing the incidence of related complaints.
Mission
The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission will provide an independent and effective civilian oversight of policing. It will deal with the public’s complaints concerning Gardaí fairly and efficiently so that everyone can have confidence in the complaints system.
All the arguments so far that have been made in relation to lismullen henge are missing the point, it should only be a secondary issue. Wether this henge is preserved is just validating the entire motorway and weaking the strongest and best argument to save tara. By saying this henge should be protected or even the Tara complex reinforces the idea that the M3 is a good idea. This is not to say the Tara complex shouldn't be preserved. I am in no way opposed to motorways they are sensible in ceratin situations they do cut down the amount of time people have to spend in cars communting and give us more free time.
However the Irish NRA often only build motorways in accordance to what big business want. The M3 is odd I'm not cetain why they're building it at all. It will not cut commuting time significantly and makes the possibility of reopening the rail corridor very difficult. This effects what is probably hundreds of thousands of people directly. Along the proposed motorway site you have the towns of Dunshaughlin, Clonee, Kells which will all affected directly by the poor planning of the M3and live close to the area so can actually get involved, tara could supplement that but your support base should be local instead by focusing on Tara you have alienated the local people as many support the motorway as they percieve you to be antimotorway.
This is not say campaigning on Tara isn't a good idea. This is something that some (though not even a significant minority) Irish people will get involved in. It should be used as another way of opposing a daft idea which a waste of money and has dire social consequences. The campaigns' sole tactics so far has been to concentrate on the archaeology of a few square kilometres of the proposed 60km long waste of taxpayers money. The campaigns', within this narrow angle of attack, through the actions of certain iindividuals have alienated its potentially most sympathethic constituency - the entire archaeological trade. I used to be/am an archaeologist and i'm still not convinced of the merits of preserving lismullen, not excavating it properly is another argument entirely. If it was excavated in a proper fashion i'm not convinced preserving it is neccessary. What is the point....although I am open to be convinced? This does not make me a traitor or anything like its called open debate. Neither are the arcaheologists working on the M3. Many of them work in arcaheology because they like it why else would they work on very poor pay in very poor conditions, on the sites where many of the workers are immigrants......well if you think this is all their fault you're on to a certain loser.
The point above is well made and we have always argued that at a time when car-dependency and the end of cheap oil are important considerations the very policy (ideology) of building motorways is misguided and against the long-term public interest. There are already two motorways transversing Co. Meath and in reality it is land-ownership, PPP contracts and vested interests that are driving government policy.
The re-routing of the M3, according to our stated policy position, is the minimum acceptable alternative, but we are arguing strongly for a review and reassesment of the whole project. The CST will be pushing post-election for the dissolution of the NRA and its replacement with an organisation with a more holistic remit in terms of transport. The reoperning of the Navan rail line and its extension to Kells and Cavan is also a demand of the Campaign.
