US' chief-puppet tastes a blast of potent Baghdad laxative The US' chief-puppet Ban Ki-moon's bowels were today involuntarily loosened by a nearby rocket blast which interrupted a brown-nosing session with the 'Iraqi' Prime Quisling Nouri Maliki inside the Invader's Greed Zone in Baghdad.

Jump To Comment: 1 2I did not support the invasion and occupation of Iraq by the US.
We all agree that Saddam was an evil dictator and the primary duty to remove him from power fell upon the US (they put in power in the first place) but not unless it was multilaterally agreed by the UN Security Council that Resolution 1441 had been breached which would have justified military action( Saddam turned out not to possess WMD a fact he was hiding from Hans Blix who naturally enough requested more time to search for evidence).
The insurgency justified their existence because they wanted the US occupiers to leave and because they claimed to represent the Iraqi people who want to rule Iraq as they see fit. However most of the insurgency groups who are extremist Shia or Sunni and foreign jihadists want Iraq to be an Islamic state run according to Sharia Law.
The elections of 2005 (declared legitimate by the UN headed by then Secretary General Kofi Annan who nobody could seriously claim was a US puppet) which demonstrated that the majority of Iraqi supported the new constitution and democratic assemblies which have since formed the Maliki government. The Iraqi people have clearly demonstrated that they reject Sharia Law as interpreted by the Shia and Sunni extremists - although because of the charachter of Iraqi society, Islam will inevitably figure in their democratic government and laws.
The extremists in the insugency have therefore no democratic mandate whatsoever and certainly no mandate to bomb and kill innocent Shia and Sunni Muslims who wish to live in a peaceful democratic Iraq.
The US occupation were forced to abandon their plans to annex Iraq for its oil and gave Iraq a democratic government after pressure from the international community.
But the US and the new Iraqi Army and police forces have demonstrated their incapacity to stop the insurgents from tearing Iraq apart.
Therefore it is up to the UN to send peacekeeping troops to Iraq when the inevitable and increasingly inevitable US withdrawl eventually arrives.
Secretary Moon is not a monkey or a US puppet, he is a brave man who has gone to Iraq in an attempt to reassert the authority of the UN which has been almost fatally wounded by the events in Iraq, Darfur and elsewhere whivh undermined the raison d'etre of his organisation as a protector of international order and peace.
Only an idiot would believe that once the US withdraw that Iraq and the greater Middle East will be peaceful.
In fact such a move without replacing US troops with UN forces would be a recipe for catastrophy.
Certainly the "Resistance" are not part of the solution.
They and the US occupation are the problem.
Hahaha, what precious gas!
Well, either you have a great sense of black humour,
