Anti Mayo gas robbery Clowns in patrick's parade takeover shocker

Clowns Infiltrate Cork City parade in defiance of Mayo gas robbery

Seven idiotic clowns today infiltrated the patrick's day parade in Cork City with banners protesting the ongoing situation in Erris, Co Mayo. Photos to follow

The unruly gaggle were invited by parade officials and the gardai, innocent of their true intentions to "do whatever they liked" in the celebration of the birth of christianity in Ireland. They took up their position just behind a marching band and lightened the atmosphere while they waited to carry out their dastardly deed. As the parade passed the dignitaries stand two fat clowns, overwhelmed by the charismatic aura of Cork's leading citizens collapsed on the tarmac and had to be assisted by their fellows who unleashed from their bulging bellies two banners emblazoned with the words "END MAYO GAS ROBBERY" and "BERTIE PUMPS FOR SHELL", causing the commentator to faaaade off gradually before giving an amazing performance of avoiding what was actually happening in front of her eyes and the eye of hundreds of others. A classic case of the elephant in the living room. An onlooker in the crowd was quoted as saying " Goddamn its disgraceful they should all be shot! I didn't come here to have to deal with uncomfortable realities".
Contrary to expectations this unruly mob, now revealing themselves as nothing more than extremist troublemakers were allowed to finish the march waving their banners and handing out leaflets polluting the fragile minds of thousands of honest citizens with their dangerous propaganda. Perhaps it was felt that removing them at this stage would have been more trouble than it was worth.
In an exclusive interview with one of the clown terrorists we gain an insight into the twisted minds that indulge in this disgusting behaviour. One of the clowns said of the gardai; " it was extraordinary, it was as if they couldn't see us" going on to add that the onlookers were "too used to being spectators to participate in their own lives, we had a great time and didn't hurt anyone and went home satisfied". Perhaps they should think of all the people whose feelings they hurt. Let's hope that they aren't setting a bad example to other misguided souls, imagine the chaos if every tom dick and harry with exhibitionist tendencies and axes to grind decided to do the same thing. We'd have to cancel all public events and outlaw bright clothing and face paint.

Five men in their knickers were seen walking down Christchurch -and it was cold.
They had on suits and ties and silken shorts.... they did not carry a protest banner.

Some naughty person filled the fountain in Dame Street full of detergent and
five cops went to 'tie-down' the situation. the foam was spluttering all day-
it emanated pink.

The craic was mighty- but the fun house was very , very expensive and bits
did not work- one should not get stuck halfway down the slide in a skirt either.

[its not very dignifyed]

Unannounced and unheralded, the crack Clown Brigade of Cork Shell to Sea made a surprise appearance in the city’s St. Patrick’s Day parade. The dedicated team of serious pranksters unfurled two banners before the reviewing stand bearing a firm message to the assembled VIPs (people who think themselves Very Important).
This reporter caught sight of the Cork S2S banner team just before their visual assault on the assembled ‘dignitaries’. When the banner unfurling happened, the public response was generous – surprised laughter and spontaneous applause. The response from the reviewing stand is as yet unascertained – perhaps they were stunned into apoplectic silence. The Cork branch felt that Ireland’s most important community struggle and campaign must not be ignored when the country celebrates. All in all, the action was worth doing and it certainly cheered up this reporter!

Here's more photos I took of the banner display.

With all due respect to Ray, we, the clowns responsible wish to make it clear that although we support the work and aims of Shell to Sea we do not consider ourselves necessarily part of that organisation. Thanks very much for the photos though

I'm one of the clowns and I'm in Shell to Sea. In any case it isn't a card carrying membership organisation, so anyone who attends S2S meetings or direct actions could (if they want to) consider themselves a S2Ser.

Alright, sorry, I'll try to be even more precise, that last post was put in cos some of the clowns said that they did not see themselves as necessarily being part of shell to sea and i was trying to represent that opinion, failing to grasp that what is said loudly by a few may not be th view of the all. Anyway this is bollocks seeing as we all know each other and can have this discussion face to face, if we really need to, it's no big deal. Respect, See ya soon,
