National Demilitarisation Weekend - Omagh '06

category tyrone | miscellaneous | event notice author Wednesday September 27, 2006 18:05author by Brits Out - Ógra Shinn Féinauthor phone Barry McNally on 07909516638 Report this post to the editors

A Chairde,

We are pleased to invite you along to the 5th Annual West Tyrone Ógra Shinn Féin Demilitarisation weekend. The weekend will take place on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October 2006 in the Omagh area.

odp_2_1.jpg

For Five years now the issue of British Demilitarisation has been brought to the fore in Omagh by the actions and activities of Ógra Shinn Féin. With the Brits set to pull out of Omagh in August 2007 we are asking comrades to come to Omagh for the weekend and bid the brits Slan Ambhaile!

This is a small victory- the ultimate aim of a complete British withdrawal and the establishment of a 32 county democratic socialist republic is coming closer day by day. The Demilitarisation of Britain war machine in Omagh is evidence of this.

So come along for the craic, politics and of course to bid farewell to British imperialism from Omagh.

People less well off are exclude as they find it hard to pay for those events. That I call true republican solidarity.
