Large groups of protesters gathered in Dublin this evening Many people gathered in Dublin this evening to express solidarity with the community in North West Mayo who are under siege from Shell and the Irish government. There was a mix-up about the status of the Statoil Station on the quays, which meant that when people showed up to protest there were no placards and leaflets for them. This was due to mistaken information being passed on as fact, and Dublin Shell to Sea want to take this opportunity to apologise for this.

Dont tell me you dident get any better pics then these!
it wasent a picket at donnybrook it was a blockade, and a great blockade too!
we blocked all 4 ways in,we battled with guards,we stood on front of,and on occasion got milled into by cars!
It was class, get everone down on friday,I cant wait!
Despite the cancellatiion of the Picket on the Quays, several people showed up late and were unaware of the postponement. The small handful of protesters held a banner saying 'our world is not for sale' and a placard urging cars to boycott the station.
