IF you want to show some solidarity with the folks in Mayo Dublin Shell to Sea is organising a demo at Donnybrook Shell Station (it's on the 46a bus route) tonight (Tuesday) 6 pm

Are there any other protests - maybe add to this thread!

WTF?

What about the Statoil station on the Quays? It's the most accessible one in the city, walking distance from city centre and easier for those of us on the northside to get to.

Where exactly on the Quays is this Statoli Station? It would be best if posters presumed geographical ignorance on the part of readers. Not everyone gets everyone elses shorthand.

reflects the kind of people protesting!!!! the d4 green machines in action..then they troop home to their big 6 bed houses and all the rest before protesting something else, coz lets face it, they aint got anything better to do!!

Donnybrook Shell:

Very handy for the No.10 and the 46A.

On a busy road.

Manager always calls the cops- who add a certain something to a protest.

Very handy for UCD.

Near RTÉ, which increases the chances of radio or tv coverage, since it's said that many rté journalists only pay attention to things that happen in Dublin 4.

Those who remember the campaign in 2005 will know that Shell to Sea always listed Donnybrook Shell and Usher's Quay Statoil as "flagship" protest sites during days of action.
