I may have to cross the water to get a piece published, unless you can tell me what's unnewsworthy about this

From Indymedia UK:
It's only a way down the front page and
it's very simple yet it's in danger of getting missed. Perhaps the fact that the initial link given leads to a complex discussion group has led people to miss the point.
The first comment gives a more direct route

This is the always-shocking Blunkett (seemed such a nice man and his dog all those years ago - but probably now agreeable to take a spliff and forget our woes) proposing an unworkable system of smart ID cards or is that entitlement cards - "say- you've got no entitlement - fuck off and die".

Promise to burn 'em in a bonfire of elitist vanities
It's easy and it's so important

As a ps - I'd better explain. The article above went into IMUK Hidden within the space of about 20 minutes. Does it transgress any of the indymedia citeria for publication? What is going on? IMUK already stands accused of altering online material to make it more 'respectable'.

I don't see that this post jumps out as against any guidelines but interpretation is the role of those who enforce the guidelines.

I can see reasons why it could have been deleted here (e.g. if it had appeared frequently) but the people who should defend / explain this action are probably available on
