offsite link ?It?s Time to Scrap the Asylum System? Fri Feb 21, 2025 17:17 | Will Jones
It's been exasperating to watch as, in defiance of the wishes of Western electorates, the cultural make-up of our countries is radically transformed. It's time to scrap the asylum system, says Lionel Shriver.

Germany's 'firewall' against the AfD is set to saddle voters with the same pro-migration Leftoid Government they're desperate to get rid of. When will the Right realise the Left has them over a barrel, asks Eugyppius.

Sometimes Trump's mercantilist thinking is so radical as to be wildly, crazily brilliant, as with the Gaza Riviera plan. But on Ukraine it's letting him ? and the West ? down, says Ian Rons.

Cabbages are better than cameras

Red lorry speeds into cameras

An hilarious attempt was made to knock over the 60ft spy pole in the cabbage patch park off Kevin St. tonight. The pole with its two spy cameras and satellite communication disc was erected about two weeks ago to the outrage of local residents (it's there to deal with anti-social behaviour apparently, and to what cost?).

Tonight though it gave great cause for entertainment as some innovative clown, sped a bright red lorry without driver or passengers and a tree hanging out of the back of it, straight into the offensive pole. Smash it went, then smash again and lo, smash it went again. The pole stood its ground, not a move did it make although I'd say there was a jelly wobble in the city council office monitors. The Gardai bee bawed to the scene in an unmarked red toyota and parked alongside. Soon enough, an enormous canary yellow tow truck arrived and I must say, it all looked very fetching. The red lorry has been removed now, watch this space for photos (have to have them developed tomorrow).

You all know the tongue twister:

Red Lorry Yellow Lorry - say it 10 times!
