news report

These days G is a busy man. Meeting him at his house, I see that he has converted his bedroom into a pseudo-office, full of computers and court documents, which he is currently transferring onto his newly launched website. He tells me that he has been working long hours recently on the website, but it seems clear that his enthusiasm and energy haven’t tired. Eleven years ago, G, like thousands of other Irish people, immigrated over to the United States in the hope of a better life and secure job away from the poverty and lack of prospects available in Ireland at the time. Finally settling in the sun kissed valleys of Napa County California with its world-famous wine glades it was the perfect place to live and start a family. |

Viva La Restistance.
No. The California man's surname is actually Mc Ardle. He's from Ballinode, Co. Monaghan, and I met him once through a friend when he lived here in northern California several years ago. We're watching this, as he is presently staging a hunger strike in front of the U.S. Embassy in Dublin. He somehow has computer access, as he and my friend here are e-mailing back and forth.
There's more on this at Shoutwire, a news discussion site, if anyone's interested. When you get to Shoutwire, type "hunger strike" in the search field, and there will be a mention of the story. Clicking on the headline for the story just brings up his web site (interesting reading), but to see the comments, click on the numeral that appears before the words "Blog It." Then, scroll down for the comments.
The McArdle Hunger Strike continues. Locally there is some action on the Sonoma based newspaper forum site. www.pressdemocrat.com
Let's hope that now the primaries are over here in the Golden State that reporters have time to investigate McArdle's allegations and do something about this!
Day 11 Hunger Strike continues.
Some words from both sides of the world but until they are demonstrated in action the Hunger Strike continues.
Please pass on the web site and info contained therein.
Ambassador Kenny, Gov. Schwarzenegger & Mr. Lockyer,
I am now entering my eleventh day of hunger strike at the U.S. embassy, Dublin. I have offered to negotiate with Mr. Kenny on this matter and his answer was for me to hire an attorney. I shall not be taking this route as I have been through three attorneys, seven judges and six district attorneys already. No amount of time or money will guarantee me the justice I deserve and I do not intend fighting this another three years. I should not have been in this mess in the first place.
I am unsure if Mr. Kenny saw my offer as a sign of me tiring of this unfortunate endeavour, but I can assure you all I fully intend to follow this through to the end if it is not resolved. Frankly, I cannot, and should not, go through life without my daughter to cover up the corruption in Napa & Sonoma co.'s. The fact that the medicinal marijuana co-op was not mentioned in either the media or the Napa P.D. police report proves that the D.A.'s used that to threaten my fiancee to turn me in. All business and bank details were in her name, yet she was not prosecuted.
As you all know, it is illegal for state agencies in California to prosecute a patient under a physicians care who has been recommended marijuana, or their caregivers. In a nation that prides itself on it's democratic values, this is a matter of gross misconduct by Gary Lieberstein. I was under the impression that in a democratic state or nation if people vote in favor of an issue then that becomes the law of the land despite the personal prejudices of any man.
The California people went to the ballot on this issue and they are my judge and jury and the decision is clear.
This matter however, is not about medicinal marijuana. It is a matter of covering up the corruption in both counties by any means neccessary. Stephan Passalacqua dug this hole, it is now up to him to dig himself out of it. I merely tried to prove my innocence against malicious charges that were filed by an officer acting outside of his jurisdiction. This explains his hasty resignation.
My family and I have suffered enough. It is time now to end this debacle.
It is easier for the D.A.'s to drop these charges than it was for them to file them and I urge all of you to resolve this as quickly as possible.
I shall step up my campaign as necessary. I shall begin by camping in front of the embassy beginning on Monday. If that is not allowed, I shall sit on my chair 24/7 and freeze to death as well as starve to death. If by the following Monday this issue has not been resolved I shall refuse water which should cause me to expire in a matter of no more than 7 days. I shall refuse medical attention and leave an order not to resuscitate in the event of medical complications should the issue remain unresolved.
Please do not underestimate my love for my daughter. I do not intend to live in the hopes that when my daughter turns 18 that we could be reunited. It is very possible that I could be dead by then anyways. This is my last stand.
I respectfully ask for a resolution to this problem and have exhausted all avenues available to me.
Yours sincerely,
G.
