Revolt Video Collective Laboratory

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Sunday December 04, 2005 11:12author by Revolt Videoauthor email revoltvideo at hushmail dot com Report this post to the editors

I'm trying to get a video activist collective together in similar vien to Undercurrents or The Camcorder Guerillas. There is a room taken on the top floor of Seomra Spraoi in which a video editing workstation and cd/dvd duplicator will be going into in the near future.

Hopefully this will start to gather momentum in the New Year.

I tried to download the full video from the link above and it doesn't seem to be working. The movie trailer was fine just the full length video wouldnt work. Any ideas what could be causing the problem or how to sort it? I got to video.inymedia.org bit it was the download part thats causing the trouble.

Checked out the trailer and the RAR stuff though and looks excellent fair play to youse! Would love to try my hand at a bit o' film making and stuff, have to get my hands on some cheap equipment somewhere.

I think this is a very worthwhile project. All the best with it, and I'll try to get involved if I have time.
Also - good work on the 'Rural Riot' and 'Take Back The City' videos (..I haven't got around to seeing the others yet).
