They seemed concerned that British Intelligence was establishing sensors in areas of Baghdad where they are operating. This is not to say that the Irish journalist was an agent of British Intelligence but just that they had suspicions he may have been .
It may be interesting to the Iranians to see the delegation from Ireland arrive, considering its composition. Unlike Ken Bigley and Margaret Hassan who only had a few whimpers and an Irish Passport issued on their behalf by our government ,this young man has two defence force spooks and a Garda Superintendent with close links to the Crime an Security Branch sent out to "save him".
