On several accounts Greenstar admit they were wrong On Tuesday September 22 Local farmer Brendan Kelly, while on his way to his land via a right of way his family have used for generations, found his way blocked by a digger and dumper belonging to the developers of the proposed landfill site in Killconnell. He discovered to his surprise that Greenstar intended to remove part of the right of way and divert him through lands leased by Greenstar to gain access to his lands, in order to build a new access road for the dump. There was no consultation with Mr. Kelly prior to this, nor with any of the other dozen or so local people that used that right of way. Mr. Kelly immediately told the workers that they had no right to work on the right of way, citing his rights and duties under Local Agenda 21 and the Aarhus Convention. The photos here are of a souterrain that was on the site of the dump. It is now nothing but a pile of "recorded" rubble at the entrance to the site.

"The sculpture I am working on here is of a face turning away into the wood. It reflects our turning away from nature highlighted by the dump with the damage to trees recorded there, as well as the damage caused by years of unsustainable developments in name of greed and profit. My artistic protest on the right-of-way was a public creative demonstration in contrast to the private destructive demonstration of the dump. We cannot replace our wild places, they are priceless, and we have already lost too much. We forget we are dependent on these life supporting systems found in nature for our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. By destroying our natural heritage we are destroying ourselves."

Why did An Bord Pleanala completely ignore the entire contents of the Appeal sent to them on February 21st 2004 regarding the Kilconnell Superdump?
The full text of the February 21st 2004 Appeal (Bord Pleanala Reference: Appeal PL 07.205181) can be seen at:

I doubt Mr Finn that you want "Celtic Waste landfill-site at Kilconnell, County Galway, Ireland" to be translated as something like "full land place of useless celts near Kilconnell".
or maybe you do. But your site's computerised translations to all languages has completely changed the sense of what you wrote in English.
Hope no-one's drawing checks off your account for that.
Message for "Mini Dictionary":
I don't know who you are, and I don't know what it is exactly that you are trying to say.
your website

your translation service:-
http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr?doit=done&url [next line]
=http://www.finnachta.com/BordPleanalaAppeal.htm&lp=en_ [8 language choices]
result = utter crap.
Question =
are you paying money for that link Mr Finnerty?
Are you paying so that other non-english speakers on the internet read about the "full land place of useless celts near Kilconnell". Becuase thats how the program translates your page, Willie. Now this is important. The internet is dominated by the english language, and this works to damage competition and unfairly hamper the commercial and cultural efforts of the vast majority of internet users. anyone who chooses to use a "machine translation" is carelessly continuing that blazé dominance. Is that what you're doing Willie?
Being blazé dominant with your dogey Korean?
We met in Winchester i bought you a cup of coffee. you told me all about the corruption. its a small world I said to ye. & it is.
I still don't know who you are, and I still don't know why you seem to need to hide behind a cloak of anonymity?
Neither do I follow your arguments - which appear very strange to me.
Babelfish is a free translation service provided by Altavista, http://babelfish.altavista.com. Is very useful, but can often misleadingly translate - translates literal meanings and does not take into account local dialects.
Mini Dictionary, why are you hiding behind a veil of anonymity? Why are you being ignorant over William's use of free internet based services? Please have the common decency to check facts before you assault.
