Statoil Depot Blockade

category dublin | rights, freedoms and repression | event notice author Thursday September 01, 2005 08:44author by anarchaeologist - Shell to Seaauthor phone 086 8537281 Report this post to the editors

Justice for the Rossport 5

Support the Rossport 5 by blockading the Statoil depot on Saturday 10th September from 8.30 a.m.

Statoil, the Norwegian state gas and oil exploration company, has been hiding behind Shell in relation to the consortium's activities in Erris. Over the coming months Shell to Sea will be pressurising Statoil to secure the release of the Rossport 5 by collapsing the injunction against them.
This is part of the campaign to have the Corrib gas refined offshore in a safe and sustainable manner, for the full benefit of the Irish people.

The Statoil depot is on Promenade Road, off the East Wall Road and we are asking people to come along from 8.30a.m. onwards.
