Friday August 12, 2005 21:21 by Tommy Donnellan - Shell to Sea
Fcuk Shell & Statoil ! On a rota system, back to our usual pitch outside Lynch's castle, some twenty Shell to Sea activists from noon to 6PM manned an info/petition table to publicise tomorrow's National demo for the Five which will be starting and finishing at the Spanish Arch, again, the response was heartening, for instance, on a rough calculation, we reckon we got 2,500 petition signatures yesterday and today and judging from the feedback, the demo numbers are looking good, very good.

for "neccessary" or "graffitti," for "the walls of the city" or even for the graffiti artist(s) who let his/her/their anger known on a wall of Shell's Galway dockland depot as regards the Rossport Five, but I will speak for the trumpet blasts which brought the walls of Jericho down and I say to the graffiti people concerned, reach for the trumpet rather than the aerosol, for fuck's sake or else fire and brimstone will be rained down on ye'er collective saintly heads. Amen.
Was it neccessary to graffitti the walls of the city?
& Statoil !
Fuck Shell & Statoil !
Double Fuck Shell & Statoil !
"Out, out dammed graffiti, Shell trying to do a Lady Maccbeth on it with a wire brush; your'e going nowhere, fuckers, not when the blood of Ken Saro-Wiwa and eight other Ogoni activists is on your murderous hands.
