Agóidí i nGaoth Dobhair agus blocaid Staisiún Shell

Leann na hagóidí ar aghaidh i nDún na nGall inné agus inniu maidir leis an líne-phíopa conspóideach i Maigh Eo agus leis an cheist níos leithne fá dtaobh de acmhainní muintir na hÉireann i láimhe comhlachtaí príobhaideacha ilnaisiúnúil.

Tháinig an t-Aire Ó Cuiv chuig Gaoth Dobhair inné ag súil le scaifte cairdiúl fáilteasach é a bheannachtú agus é ag oscailt oifigí nua 'LÁ'. I bhfirinne casadh slua mór air le placairte is brait ag eileamh ar an rialtas an cúigear fear Ros Dumhach a scaoileadh ón phriosún, ag eileamh air ár n-acmhainní nadúrtha féin a fhileadh chuig na daoine ó na comhlachtaí príobhaideacha is ag caitheamh solais ar morgadh an rialtais.
Bhíodh mar mhánaí ag na hagóidithe ná 'Sciob ar ais ár n-acmhainní nadúrtha' 'Bertie an soiSHELLeach' 'Baghcat ar Shell' agus 'Fulaingt i Maigh Eo ar son Lucht an Ghnó'

Bhí agóid ann inniu ag an críochfort Shell i nDoire agus leann roinnt mhaith na n-agóideoir ar aghaidh ansin chuig Magh i nDún na nGall picéad a dhéanamh ar an staisiún artola Shell. Mar gheall ar an phicéad, fagadh clós an staisiúin folamh ar feadh uair a chlóig agus an bainisteoir ag dul ar mire. Scairteadh ar an Gharda, a mhol do na hagóideoirí bogadh as tús an chlóis is an agóid a dhéanamh ar an chosán. Shocraigh na hagóideoirí leannúint ar aghaidh leis an phicéad mar a bhí agus bhí sé soileir nach raibh an Garda abálta rud ar bith a dhéanamh. Chríochnaigh na hagóideoirí agus d'imigh leo ag an am cheanna, is shocraigh siad filleadh ar ais arís le picéad Shell go scaoilfear an cúigear.

Ghlac an Socialist Environmental Alliance (SEA), Sinn Féin, ceardchumannaí agus daoine fá leith (indibhidiúilí) eile páirt in san agóid Dhoire ach dhúiltigh Sinn Féin an picéad a dhéanamh.

Fair play daoibh uilig thuas i nDún na nGall. Tá sé in am go gcuirfí brú ar Airí an Rialtais, go háirithe iad siúd atá freagrach as gnóthaí mara (?), talmhaíochta (?) agus go mór mhór, gnóthaí pobail, tuaithe ná gaeltachta (meas tú cé hé sin?) - is soiléir nach dtuigeann siad féin cén réimse ina bhfuil siad in ainm is a bheith ag obair, agus nach dtuigeann siad go bhfuil siad fostaithe ag na daoine a thogh iad.

Beidh ciall ceannaithe go fóill acu. Coinnigí oraibh!
