Galway : Sinn Fein & Shell to Sea, on this glorious dog day put the heat on Shell .![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now is the Winter of Shell's Discontent " For four hours today in sweltering Williamsgate Street, Sinn Fein young turks augmented with Shell to Sea activists manned an information/petition table and were genuinely awed at the amount of outrage and palpaple anger that was directed at Shell and Fianna Fail by the pedestrians who at times queued to sign our petition. To round off a perfect day, we marched to the Statoil petrol station at the far end of Bothair Mhor and blockaded/picketed the fucker for two hours, drawing supportive car hoots and laryngeal hollers from the rush hour motorists (and eventually Gardai attention) - although some churls, with savour, broke through to fill up, fuck 'em.
