Save your pigeon pie for a better target, friends. SE Radio are the best in the SE for reporting in a fair and balanced manner on Ireland and the so-called "war on terror".

Compare any interview or original news item related to the terror/war on SE Radio with WLR FM (Waterford). It's like day and night.

...Oh and by the way, I'm not saying that WLR FM are a rotten lot. There's still far more fair and balanced talk there on this issue than there is on RTE Radio 1's morning shows.

So, Dubsky, I've to blunt my criticism of Southeast Radio on the basis it is not the worse offender - I've to indulge in a little moral triage, as it were. Mmm, I wonder, does your imperative also extend to Bush and his criminals, on the basis that Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, etc, are/were far worse?. Eat a little humble/reality pie, for fuck's, if not morality's sake and get real ?.

Let's have some common sense here. You cannot assume that the level of credibility in the "corporate, mainstream media" is all the same. I mean, you can't assume they're homogeneous, can you? That would be wrong.

Plus, it's perfectly reasonable to argue that there are good Nazis and bad Nazis - I;ve seen it on Indymedia Ireland. Apparently, Sean Russell, he of U-Boat fame, was only dealing with the Abwehr in Hitler's Germany - and they were good Nazies. Admiral Canaris HATED old Adolf, and I bet a lot of Jews are glad about that. And Republicans.

This could have been one individual in that station rather than a policy from the station in general. Can we have the email produced here please? It's a rather childish thing to email back and, surely, no self respecting radio station would allow this.

are you sure the mail even came from the station (it's very easy to fake a mail from anyone)?

could the receivers of your mailshot see the other people it was addressed to?

my point is that anyone who knew you sent a mail to that station could have sent the reply?

you don't produce the whole email or it's subject line so it's not clear if it's a reply to your mail at all.
It could be a reply (admittedly by an idiot) to some spam / virus / junk that was sent by a third party that faked your email address

this whole incinent has probably increasesed the number of people who know about your event (the intended purpose of the original mail)

Did you send / makeup the reply yourself? ;-)

I think its disgraceful that these doves are going to be held in captivity by your group for a PR stunt and then released into the wild where they cannot fend for themselves they will probally be flying around during the show and get sucked into a planes engine, and got knows where that could end.

The poison email, I gather, came from the newsroom of SE Radio, not once but twice so its provenance is almost assured?. It probably emanated from a maverick headbanger there and judging from the MD's commendable performance on 'Liveline' yesterday, its certainly not station policy, guess we'll have to suspend judgement until the culprit is outed and see what punishment, if any is meted out?.

"Pete", the doves are hand-reared, homing rock pigeons and were back in their Craughwell dovecote tucking into primo grain and farting their contentment before their loving owner returned. Alright !.
