Jump To Comment: 1 2Here are a few reasons why you should come to Shannon, Co Clare for this peace gathering. Over 100,000 innocent people have been killed in Iraq since 20th March 2003. Well, thats 100,000 reasons for comming to Clare. Most of this killing has been perpetrated by US military forces that have been allowed pass through Shannon airport. This complicity in mass murder must be stopped.
A senior UN spokesperson has also just released a report that malnutrician and virtual starvation among young children has actually increased since the US invaded Iraq, and also cited continuing deliberate targeting of water treatment and sewerage plants by US forces in Iraq. This is leading to the deaths of large numbers of children by disease.
