(b) If the policy of the party is still opposition to Nice, how does Trevor Sargent reconcile this policy with his willingness to join a government where his "partners" would fully support the Nice treaty.
A fair point and that could go for Sinn Fein too.
I would love to hear an answer from both parties
To be fair, the Greens did make renegotiation a pre-requisite for entry to Government. They insisted it was a deal breaker.
as for SF, the same is most certainly not true
