Somewhere on the publish form it says this:

"We think that all content published on this site should be free for non-commercial reuse, reprint, and rebroadcast, on the internet and elsewhere, and we think that Copyleft is an idea which should be central to Indymedia. Because of this, all content published on this site is done so under these terms by default. However if you want to publish content under different terms and conditions, you must clearly state these terms and conditions in the text of your published content. "

and thanks to Paula for publishing them here.

W.r.t. the copyleft thing what this means is that Paula is sharing them with all readers of indymedia.ie, but if some commercial enterprise, or other open-publishing site/magazine/newspaper wants to use them then they have to check with her first.

I can't see what's wrong with that. I'd prefer it if they were copyleft, but it's absolutely her right to publish them under any terms she chooses --- she did the work and if she wants to leave open the possibility of being paid for them then that's all to the good.

The pictures are certainly good enough to be published anywhere.

Thanks Paula.

I think it is a disgrace that Sinn Fein should use the March to advertise two of their public representatives. Talk about the SWP hijacking a campaign, Sinn Fein have done less than them and I don't think even the SWP would go around with a banner with pictures of Brid Smith and Boyd Barrett on it.

The last commenter must be living in that wonderfull sheltered life that Kieran Allen has built up for his political spawn. Sinn Fein of all the parties get out the most supporters for the bin tax protests. The only thing the SWP can say is that they got more paper sellers out. Also the two candidates on the banner got elected. So go peddle your delusions elsewhere.

Its a an abosolute sham that $inn £ein finds it nessecary to flaunt the enlarged faces of their candidates. What makes Mary Lou & the other lad any more important than everyone involved in the campaign?
Its Nothing more than cheap image byting...shame!

Less bickering please. It is good to have Sinn Fein on board the anti bin protest-for whatever reason.!
Let all move forward with united purpose, in defeating this stealth tax on the ordinary citizens.
