The military police of Goiás began this morning of Wednesday, 16/02, the mega- operation of reinstatement of property in the occupation(squat) of Sonho Real(Real Dream). They are near 2.500 men that began in a violent way the unemployment. At least 10 people were taken to the hospital and two deaths were already confirmed.

There were more than 800 detentions, inside them that of two volunteers of Indymedia that covered the occupation.

The action was carried out in spite of requested innumerables entities of human rights, goians parliamentary and sectors of the Catholic and evangelical(protestant) churches. The own governor, Marconi Perillo, guaranteed that the military police would not invade the place.

In the dawn of Monday ,Tuesday, 02/15, the military police again attacked the occupation of Real Sonho, in the Industrial Park West in Goiânia.

Besides bombs of tear gas and of moral effect, they were used by the policemen bullets of lead of thick caliber. The ocupanes responded to the aggression with their precarious defense weapons. Two residents and a policeman were hurt and assisted in the Urgences Hospital.

More than 3.000 families they are living in the occupation of Real Sonho. Several barricades were lifted in the entrances and exists an enormous determination of resisting the unemployment action.

The corporate press of Goiânia comes being quiet in front of these abuses and it has carried out an enormous campaign of criminalization of the movement for the housing. The judicial power presses openly to the Secretary of Public Security and the military police to complete the order of refund of the properties. According to the command of the police, 2.000 men are being mobilized.

We are in front of an imminent massacre. In front of this emergency situation, IMC Goiânia requests to all the entities of human rights that return its eyes toward Goiás and press to the local and federal public power to look for a peaceful exit to the conflict.

During the massacre in Goiânia, two volunteers of the Indymedia were arrested by the police, for photohraph the police brutality against the occupants of the land invaded in today's by the police of today and what it was (according to official numbers) in 800 arresteds, wounded and many deads. The volunteers are: Bradley, of the Independent Media Center from New York and Rafael Augusto of the movement União Popular (People´s Union).

The manifestation will begin at 9hs o'clock, in the cathedral of Goiânia. Violent and massive presence of the fascist police it is awaited.

More witness about the policial violence don't stops to come, in spite of the National Secretary For Humans Rights (Nilmario Miranda), which decided hear only the police version of the massacre, ignoring new denunciations of the inhabitants of the ocupation(the majority of they allegate equals denunciations).

Other denunciations are: the attacks of the policemen to the disarmed neighbors of the squatted area. They houses was invaded for policemen which shooted and beated in the people. Between the deads, the people of the squatted area affirm which a children was killed by the cops.

The childrens, the olds, and the women are the favorite targets of the policemen. URGENT UPDATES ABOUT THE MASSACRES ACCOMPLISHED FOR THE BRAZILIAN GOVERNMENT

LULA AGAINST THE DISPLACEDED WORKS AND HOMELESS OF THE BRAZIL!!!

The government of the false left in Brazil, to make itself "innocent" , tries to incriminate only the right-wing governantes (that support him in a way or other, including in the party alliances) of the State of Goiás (Marconi Perillo - that had affirmed that don´t would happen the massacre) and of the city of Goiana (Iris Rezende, a local commander wound with corruption and aggressions to opponents in the last elections). Meanwhile, it is serious the condition of the workers in Goiânia.

- The four volunteers of the indymedia remain arrested. Between the arrested are the member of the indymedia of New York (Brad Will) and a member of the movement People´s Union (Rafael Augusto). The picture and filming material are in the hands of the police (several media equipment registered the truculence of the Brazilian police shooting against the civilians).

All are imprisoned by the federal police (neither the state police neither the city repression forces that arrested them) in Goiania;

The police intervened with elite forces, violently armed for to defend their agents. Them fired against the people in the streets, and then invaded the church where it happened the funeral and shooted against the people.
