very good to see this happening, can i also ask that a short brainstorming might be done on how things might be after the next 3 years of indymedia.
there is not enough "face to face" as stated above so more of it please.
i would like if we could explore ways of webcasting and doing joint projects with other imc`s, as attemted here

this weekend 5 years ago was when the WTO was challenged with peaceful powerful creative protest @ seattle, the start of process that put the word GLOBALISATION on the map, the "battle of seattle" as it was later called. during this event the new communication tool INDYMEDIA was very successfully launched, the UK heads were the ones mostly invovled in this process and this weekend they are having their birthday at RAMPART,they seem like a great crew and have a great space, complete with audio webstream and possibly live stream facilities, they did good work at the recent ESF events a few weeks back in london.

"Indymedia will be five years old on 30 November, the anniversary of the Anti-WTO protests in Seattle. Plus the FBI has seized a London-based server that was used by 20 IMC's worldwide. So we'll combine the celebration with the need to raise money for new servers and invite everybody to the Fifth Birthday of Insurrection (FBI) Party, after the Anarchist Bookfair."
