Ofcom has been hounding GB News for its 'bias' in not being uniformly Left-wing. David Craig wonders when the brave regulator will notice that Times Radio pours forth anti-Trump bile all day long and takes action there.

Out with the old elites, in with the new, says Dr Nicholas Tate ? preferably ones who don't sneer at the people they rule, shove woke dogma down our throats or fail spectacularly as leaders.

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4It is ok because Bush has Poland supporting him. I don't recall how Poland's communist leaders supporting the Soviet's invasion of Afghanistan made the Soviet's invasion any less the bloodsoaked offensive it was. But Bush seems to think that Poland's capitalist leaders supporting his war in Iraq does make his war less bloodsoaked and offensive.
If anyone believes this letter is from anyone other than the terrorists then I have some great land they'd probably like to buy in the middle of the desert.
Get real.
Whether or not you believe this letter to be real or not you cannot deny innocent people are being killed in fallujah. I just think its terrible of you to pass this off as done by a bunch of terrorist...surely it represents many of the people of fallujah anyway..whether by them or not! Wake up, smell the concrete.
There are something like 100,000 people in Falluja at the moment and the US is claiming to be facing 3,000 'terrorists'. That would leave some 97,000 people capable of writing such a letter - it says something that you are incapable of spotting this yourself.
I'm quite interested in any further information on who the Al-Fallujah Shura Council. Is Shura a different version of writing Shora, the Shora Councils in the Iranian revolution and the post 1991 Iraq uprising were workers councils.
BTW the women in Baghdad who does the riverbend blod has as usual really captured the horror of what is going on. Go to http://www.riverbendblog.blogspot.com/ and scroll down to the story headed 'Some terrorists' a brief extract follows but go and look it up, its very worth reading
"“I hope everyone is ok…” I offered tentatively. Umm Ahmed focused for a moment on me and shook her head, “Well, last week we buried our neighbor Umm Najib and her two daughters. They were sleeping when a missile fell in the garden and the house collapsed.”
“And my windows were broken…” Harith suddenly added, excitedly, then disappeared again behind his mother.
“The windows were broken and the front door was blown in. We were all ok because ever since the war we’ve all been sleeping in the living room.” Umm Ahmed explained, automatically, like she had told the story a hundred times"
..
Well, at least everyone is safe… you were very wise to come here.” My mother offered. “Your children are fine- and that’s what’s important.”
This phrase didn’t have quite the effect we expected. Umm Ahmed’s eyes suddenly flowed over and in a moment, she was crying freely. Sama frowned and gently took the baby from her mother’s arms, rising to walk him around in the hallway. My aunt quickly poured a glass of water out for Umm Ahmed and handed it to her, explaining to us, “Ahmed, her fourteen-year-old son, is with his father, still in Falloojeh.”
“I didn’t want to leave him…” The glass of water shook in her hands. “But he refused to leave without his father and we got separated last minute as the cars were leaving the city…”
